Why You’re Not Actually Finding Success In Attraction Marketing?
Many of you are taught it’s best to attract your target market but yet you’re not finding success in attraction market.
You start to feel frustrated, you lose confidence and you start to really question if this thing called attraction marketing really works. You become stagnant in your business and it gets to the point to where you lie tell others that you have a successful business although you’re not doing anything with it.
But one thing you must do to turn your business around is to list what you’re failing at and correlate it with a solution.
Sounds easier said than done?
Well in this post I will go into more detail about this and share some tips that you can instantly use after reading this post!
“Things never go the way you expect them to. That’s both the joy and frustration in life. Im finding as I get older that I don’t mind, though. It’s the surprises that tickle me the most, the things you don’t see coming.” ~ Michael Stuhlbarg
Were you excited when you first heard of attraction marketing? And the fact of the matter is you stumbled upon different strategies you can use to find success in attraction marketing.
When I was in network marketing, I thought I was limited to passing out DVDs, buying uninterested opt in leads, and going to a bunch of meetings.
But then I got smart and started doing some research on the internet.
Did you do the same?
I came across videos by Mike Dillard and Jonathan Budd talking about how you can truly make money working from home by using attraction marketing.
This was exciting! Then I came across all types of other videos and blogs talking about attraction marketing this and attraction marketing that to the point that it turned out to be information overload.
So with all the information, you probably tried to put together a plan with a foundation in attraction marketing. You at first start posting your opportunities, products, and services on sites like Facebook manually.
But you didn’t get any results!
Then you probably ran into tools that make it convenient for you to post automatically. So you set it up to post at specific times of the day everyday. You probably got a couple of leads, and may even get one or two sales a month.
But this wasn’t enough.
Then you find out about target marketing!
So based on this, you try to target people within your niche by doing the same routine but only to your specific audience.
But yet again, you get the same results!
Now you’re frustrated, mad, about to go ballistic and as a result you feel very limited and trapped. You just can’t figure out why no one isn’t buying in swarms like the gurus teach. WTF!!!! (What the Fudge!!!)
Now you’re wondering if it’s really possible to find success in attraction marketing online. Were these so-called Gurus actually lying just to get you as a subscriber so you can buy their products?
Well to tell you the truth sometimes these “gurus” leave out some important actions in order to be on the same road as those successful online marketers.
A lot of you just want the tools and strategies so you can get going with your home business.
Some of you may already be using tools, but yet you’re just not getting the results you expected. I can remember when I started using a tool call Post Planner some years ago where you can automatically blast your blog posts, products or services out on Facebook to expose people to them.
The problem was a lot of people were doing the same thing and above all, who was I to blast this out to people who really didn’t know me at all?
So when it comes to attraction marketing, you want to ask yourself how are you going to separate yourself from others who are doing the same exact thing and may be promoting the same opportunities, products, and services as you are?
The answer to this is starting off with showing off your “magnetic personality” whether you’re an introvert or extrovert. The key is becoming the person that people want to get to know, like and of course trust.
With that said, let’s look at a these tips of things that a lot of Guru’s really don’t emphasize the importance of when it comes to succeeding in attraction marketing:
Come Up With Goals And Sub-Goals
Although you may have heard of doing this, but do you really know how important this is?
Yes, I know, when you first make goals, they’re pretty generic. As a matter of fact you’re probably not even sure that they may be even attainable.
So do you really need to be detailed as far as your goals at first?
Well that depends on your experience?
If you have no experience at all, then your goals are going to be generic, and that’s ok.
But the more experience you have, the more subgoals you’ll more than likely have. The reason why you want to have sub goals is so that you can get out of the loop of doing the same thing over and over again hindering you from progressing to the next level or goal.
Are You Not Networking or Connecting With Others?
Some of you got into the habit of chasing people. Either you blast the people with what you promote or you try to force a relationship on them.
Oh yea, if you’re using the cliche’ “I just want to share some information and get your opinion”, you need to stop putting up a front. The people within your target market already know what’s up!
Don’t make it hard on yourself!
So instead, make it simple by just connecting with people within your niche. That’s it. How do you do this?
The goal is to be attractive to people.
What’s the best way? The magic word is just connect with them. You don’t have to put on a show to get people’s attention.
The best way I do this is leave a genuine comment on a post whether it be on social media, a blogging community or on a blog post.
Here are some examples of genuine comments!
Tell them you like the post and what you like about it.
Tell them how much of their tidbit advice they shared helped you.
Ask them questions about something inside the post.
Tell them what you like most within the post.
Tell them what you disagree or agree with.
Share with them your experience.
Ask them for some type of direction based on your situation.
And you know what happens?
The magic of attracting them back to my posts happens whether it be social media, blog communities or my own blog posts.
That is, the more serious ones will return the favor. Here’s a list 10 bloggers that everyone should connect with and what you will get from going to their blogs!

Not Building Relationships/Rapport
Ok, I do admit that with being an introvert, this isn’t my strong point.
But, I’m also not chasing people.
Here’s the thing! I’m attracting the right people to me! Period!
This is just through simple commenting as I mentioned before.
And you know what? I’m becoming more transparent with people automatically. Well they’re not just people, they are my blogging friends. Well I should say they’ve become good friends.
You tend to respond well to those that you have a lot of things in common with in the home business/blogging world.
We all practice this thing called the Law Of Reciprocity where we support and share each other’s content. As a result, you get better results!
And if you keep practicing commenting and rapport building, you’ll run into people that are consider Influencers meaning they have a nice size list of followers that trust them.
Now if you do a guest post or if they blast your posts out to their audience, then you will start to see even better results.
But for us average people, it takes time to get on that celebrity status, but it will all pan out fine if your consistent with it!
Always Selling And Not Sharing
Now remember what i said in the first point about chasing people?
You don’t want to put up a front by giving the same cliche of “sharing information” with each person you’re trying to make money from.
There’s a lot of you that like to “share information” with people you don’t know and worst yet, you use this approach with your target market!
Instead of “Sharing Information”, how about finding out what problems they’re having and the “share solutions” for those problems.
Besides doing this, “Sharing Information” equates to just selling!
And you know that no one wants to be sold to. Especially when you first meet them.
But on the contrary of this, if they’re really in need of a solution, then I see no problem in sharing it on the first meeting. Besides that, keep building rapport and find out what their problems are.
When it comes to emailing your subscribers or sharing blog posts, you want to promote something of value at least 75% of the time, and your products/services 25% of the time.
For example, if you publish 4 blog posts a month, 1 each week, 3 of those posts should be something that’s going to be of value to your audience, and 1 should be a topic on a product/service you promote.
No Professional/Mobile Ready Blog Theme
When I think of Professionalism I think of simplicity and focus.
And if you’re blogging to build a home business or just to make money online, then it’s vital that you have a professional theme based on these two principles.
That is simplicity as far as ease of read and navigate, and more focus on the content itself where there’s not a lot of distractions as far as having a bunch of ads on your blog.
You also want the look that your target market is looking for and you want to be able to attract organic traffic to your blog via the Search Engines.
With all the changes made with search engines and mobile technology it is a must that your blog is up to date with them.
And with your blog, it’s vital that your theme is ready-made for these changes.
This brings us to Frameworks!
With Frameworks the themes are already prepared and scalable enough to handle the changes that have been made and for future changes.
I have been using the Genesis Framework by Studio Press for about year now, and so far I haven’t had any problems compared to my previous themes.
You also want to take into account of having a mobile ready theme which will become a necessity to rank well.
On February 26th, 2015, Google announced that they’re going to rank sites based on their Mobile Readiness! This means that if you’re blog isn’t mobile ready, then it can get penalized.
Here’s a great post by Sherry Perry Called Are You Ready For The Google Mobile Friendly Algorithm where she goes into more detail of how Google is creating a mobile algorithm to indicate how they’re going to rank sites that are mobile ready and those that aren’t
Blog Headlines Aren’t Enticing Enough
How do you determine what blogs you’re going to read?
Ok, lets leave out the blogs that you already know about.
I’m talking the blogs that you visit for the first time. If you come across a blog that you never seen before, what will be the determine fact of you clicking on it to read?
Well, lets look at some statistics.
According to this 2013 Moz Blog Post by Nathan Safran Called 5 Data Insights Into The Headlines Readers Click :
These statistics show how important having an enticing headline is! You may be blasting out your blog posts on social media and other sites, but how much is it getting read?
Now if you’re not blogging, can you imagine with a PPC Campaign, using Solo Ads or using an offline campaign as Newspaper Ads?
When it comes to success in attraction marketing it becomes vital to start using enticing copywriting!
What is Copwriting exactly?
Copywriting are the words, phrases or sentences you would use to persuade your audience to take some type of action that will lead them to ultimately make a purchase
Now that we got that covered, you want to put it to action right?
There are some copywriting formulas you can use to come up with some engaging headlines!
In This Post I show you How To Write Eye Catching Traffic Generating Blog Headlines by listing some of copywriting formulas you can incorporate on your blog posts or marketing campaigns
Also there are a couple of tools that i use to help me come up with the words that will make my headlines more attractive to my target audience
So make sure that before you start writing your content that you spend quality time in coming up with headlines that will intrigue your target audience!
Not Writing In Conversation Mode on Your Blog Posts And Emails
Are you writing very robotic or very textbook based?
Well, this can be something quite boring to your readers. If you write like this you have to ask yourself how much do you enjoy reading text books when you were in grade school?
If anything, you want your target audience to relate to the content right? This is the perfect start if you want success in attraction marketing.
You want your audience to be interested in your content and give them a good reason to keep them coming back for more.
So the one thing that I believe most of us can do is have a conversation with someone right?
With that being said, it would be more beneficial to you to incorporate this with your blog posts.
When it comes to attraction marketing, being able to make your readers feel that you’re talking directly to them does much wonders!
One great way to accomplish this is to build your content based on the copywriting formulas I was referring to in the previous point.
As a matter of fact, there are copywriting formulas for writing attractive articles and blog posts!
With these formulas this will definitely help you lead your audience to subscribe to your email list as well entice them to buy something you’re promoting!
No Effective CTA (Call To Action)
Success in Attraction Marketing sometimes require you to give your target audience some direction.
When it comes to blogging you can be the epitome of writing quality blog posts to your target audience, but if you’re not asking them to take some type of action by asking to leave comments, share your post or even opt into your opt in forms, then you really have nothing to gain.
You will just be writing for the joy of writing.
Asking to take these type of actions may be petty, but for some reason it’s always the petty tasks like this that get overlooked but yet results into bigger and better things for your success.
This is why it’s imperative to use a CTA .
As far as blogging is concern, implementing effective CTAs creates dialogue with your commenters and that results into social proof which attracts more visitors and looks good to search engines.
Also with an enticing CTA you can turn your visitors and commenters into subscribers and buyers.
Your audience will appreciate it if you direct them to where they can receive more valuable information that can help them in the long run as well as purchase the solutions for their irksome problems.
No Effective List Building Plugin or Autoresponder
How many times have you heard that the money is in the list?
You’re probably sick of hearing it, right?
Well it’s a powerful cliche in regards to success in attraction marketing.
When you build a responsive, targeted list of already interested subscribers, then it works to your advantage.
The goal of the list is for you to keep delivering value to your subscribers, and enable them to get to know, like and trust you.
Once you do this, you will start making the sales that you want.
After you do your CTA your visitors need somewhere to go in order to subscribe to your blog.
This is where a great List Building Plugin and Email Autoresponder comes into play!
The List Building Plugin will have the necessary forms for your visitors to fill out so that they can get on your email list via your Email Autoresponder.
When it comes to subscribers on your email list the goal is for them to get to know you and build trust within you. Once you’re consistent with this, then selling becomes a lot easier and smoother.
Not Replying To Comments And Questions
Last but not least, you want to create dialogue with your commenters.
Probably the worst thing you can do to yourselves whether it be on a blog, on social media, or in email is to not reply to comments or questions.
This will definitely aid in repelling your success in attraction marketing.
You want to be able to be looked upon as an authority when it comes to your niche. Yes I know, you probably don’t have all the answers and you’re probably introverted like I am.
But here’s the thing! You don’t have to know all the answers, or even give a really long, educated answer to show people how smart you are.
With the relationships that you have been building hopefully, you can point your audience to someone who knows a little more than you about a certain topic.
You’re still replying to them although you may be redirecting them to a different source.
But besides this, by all means, give them the best answer you have!
When you can be of help to someone, and reply to their comments in a timely manner, then this shows how important they are to you. And you know we a love it when we get acknowledged by others, right?
Wow, this is the longest post I’ve written thus far. If you made it this far, then give yourself a pat on the back!
Many people that start a home business are taught attraction marketing techniques but don’t know what to focus on and how to put it all together.
I would say that the first 3 points I made are the most important, and the rest of the points are built from this foundation.
You definitely want to build a great reputation so you can attraction those serious customers and get more exposure to whatever you’re promoting. With this in mind, you’re embedding who you are and what you do in the mind of your visitors, leads and subscribers.
This is all part of Personal Branding
As you can see the description of the list of bloggers I shared with you are how I know them as. They are the connoisseurs of their craft and they will definitely be very helpful if you had questions within their specialty.
Also they are more than willing to comment and share your blog posts.
Wit the aid of the online tools I mentioned they will definitely make you’re attraction marketing journey much easier!
Success in attraction marketing requires all of these tips to be put into consistent action. It may be slow at first, and you may go through some trials and tribulations, but with a sharp focus and open mind to learn from your errors you will be able to fulfill each of your goals!
